## Question

In io.Connect Desktop running on macOS, does each separate type of application window get its own icon in the Mac taskbar/dock? Or is there only 1 icon for the Interop.io Launchpad?

## Answer

There’s only one Dock icon on macOS (for the io.Connect Desktop app), not separate icons per window or per “type” of window. This is a macOS behavior: a single app icon represents all of that app’s windows. If you need to find a specific io.Connect window (e.g., Launchpad, Workspaces, etc.), you can right-click the Dock icon and use the menu options to bring up the list of windows for that app.
