## Question

For the new Auto Update functionality (available since io.Connect Desktop 10.0), can we configure the frequency of update checks?

## Answer

Yes, in `system.json` under `autoUpdater` there’s a parameter `updateIntervalMinutes` you can set to control how often to check for updates. The minimum allowed interval is 5 minutes, and default is 10 minutes.
