Workspace Tab Overflow
When there isn’t enough room for all open Workspaces, tabs can now shrink to a minimum width and become scrollable. A More Workspaces button gives users access to Workspaces whose tabs are outside the visible area and lets them select or close them directly.
Tab overflow is disabled by default and can be enabled with workspaceTabsOverflow in the Workspaces configuration.
Custom Workspaces Apps can also reuse or replace the default overflow UI.
Redesigned Workspace Tab Menu
The Workspace tab menu now displays the name of the Workspace Layout and provides clearer Layout management directly from the Workspace:

Save updates the current Workspace Layout.

Save As saves it under a new name.

New Rename and Delete actions are available.

Settings has been renamed to Lock Settings.
More UI Customization
4.6 adds more CSS variables for customizing the Workspace tabs and tab overflow, Workspace dialogs and popups, Workspace Settings panel, Launchpad sections, and the Layouts footer.
This gives teams with customized Home or Workspaces Apps more control over how the platform UI fits their own design system.
